Artist Bio

I was born in New Jersey, but have lived most of my life in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania.  I work part-time as an office professional and volunteer as a host in a bipolar chat room.   I have four cats and a husband, who is the only thing standing between me and more cats.

I have always loved art, and being an artist has always been my ideal career.  It was in high school that I first discovered art photography.  I also painted with acrylics, and it was that form of expression that I continued with after school.  However, my satisfaction with painting waned, and I stopped producing for a time.

I was introduced to digital photography and computer image manipulation by my husband, and I have been happily producing images for several years.

The first digital camera I used was a 2.3 mega pixel Kodak Easyshare DX3600.  A few years ago, we upgraded to an 8.0 mega pixel Olympus C-8080 digital camera.  I use Adobe Photoshop Elements, several third-party filters, and a Wacom pen tablet to manipulate the images.

Most of the pictures I take are from my own garden.
